Because, as we know, the Big Ten sucks, and are irrelevant to the world of college football...I know, i know...W_Z, we all KNOW this. why are you beating a dead horse? OK, Ok...you're right. i'll stop. i will not say that the SEC is 100x more entertaining than the big ten, or any other conference...you got me. you got me good. i just want to remind you that LSU is #1 in the country, and alabama is right there--oh...oh there I go again, jeez, i'm sorry. But you understand. You all know. Hell, you all agree. I'm stating the obvious. Man, that speed. GOD, that SPEED. All right, I get it...I get it. I'll stop. Can't wait to watch more SEC so we can talk more about this, right guys? I knew you'd agree. TTYL! I LOVE SOUTHERN FOOTBALL! |

Nice comeback by Arkansas today Kentucky blows. I expect LSU to come back to earth when they play a real team. Florida/Bama should be a thing tonight...Gators are better than they're being given credit for. |

i'm looking forward too, boyd. i'm actually still a little skeptical of LSU too. they need to beat bama to really give me confidence...not sure about that. not sure about lee. but they are taking care of business, jabroni. |

Anything Les Miles runs is scary...that's really my only point. I love that conference play seems to start earlier than the rest of the conferences (other than the Pac 10), too. I tried watching SC/Auburn, but it was making me sleepy. |

SC/Auburn was as boring as it gets. so 3/3. |

Really, that's kind of how today has gone. As good as the early slate was, that's how bad the late afternoon games have been today. MSU/OSU was shit too...it's like last Sunday's NFL schedule this week. |

I have to say, last year, Brantley was being used wrong by Meyer. The kid is more of a pro style QB, and having Chaz Bono as his OC is going to do a lot for him. |

Yeah...it got really out of hand. I'm not sure who can beat Alabama at this point...which means they'll probably lose to Auburn. I wonder how bad Brantley is hurt. |

Garcia kicked out at USC Quote: "Being a student-athlete at the University of South Carolina is a privilege, not a right," said Athletics Director Eric Hyman, "and we remind all of our student-athletes that there are consequences for their actions. For Stephen to return to and remain with the football squad this fall, we agreed on several established guidelines. Unfortunately, he has not been able to abide by those guidelines and has therefore forfeited his position on the roster. We wish him the best of luck as he moves forward in life." "We are all saddened that this has occurred," said head coach Steve Spurrier. "We all feel like we've given Stephen numerous opportunities to be a student-athlete here at South Carolina. Obviously, he has chosen not to follow the guidelines of his reinstatement contract. We wish him the best." Garcia finishes his career with 7,597 passing yards, completing 589-of-1021 passes (57.7 percent), with 47 touchdowns and 41 interceptions. He became the third quarterback in school history to throw for more than 7,500 yards in a career, and also ranks third on the all-time charts in pass attempts, pass completions and passing touchdowns. He posted a 20-14 record as a starting quarterback. This season, he was 61-of-118 (51.7 percent) for 844 yards with four touchdowns and nine interceptions in five games. Unsubstantiated on-campus rumors that are surely false are that he was point shaving Too drinky more than likely though |

On Garcia- I read a book, I think it was called Meat Market, where it followed Ole Miss during their recruiting battles and Garcia was the top quarterback, basically a can't miss. FOr Garcia, not to be able to stay away from the drugs and alchol, who knows what he could have been. I thought he was bad the first couple of years, but was turning it around late in the year last year and seemed like the best option at QB this year, but without much scoring in some game and probably when he watched Connor Shaw against Kentucky last weekend, knew he wouldn't be the starter again. Also on SEC Quarterbacks, it looks like Tennesee's Tyler Bray will be out for the rest of the regular season due to broken hand and Phil Simms son Chris Simms will start again, think Desmon Howard will go after him for bad play again. |

Read the same book reents. Pretty decent for a college football book. If I remember Ole Miss wanted Garcia but ended up getting Jevan Snead after he left Texas following the ascendency of Colt McCoy. |

Besides number 1 and 2 tommorow night between LSU-Bama, there is also another big SEC game around the same time between South Carolina and Arkansas. THe big thing in this one, can South Carolina's defense stop Arkansas, because South Carolina has not shown much offense this year, had a couple games, but not many more and they struggled when they had Garcia and Lattimore. |
