What channel is the Illini game on tonight on Comcast in the city proper? My grandfather wants to watch and I have no idea what CBS Sports Net is.

If they're on CBS College Sports, it's something like 232 in HD...not sure about standard def, though.

Paul throws the ball away
DJ Richardson gets a steal and misses a pull up 3
Various bad Illinois offensive possessions
Paul dribbles off his foot
Tyler Griffey makes a shot - everybody gets irrationally excited that it means something
Big freshman guys foul some people
Big freshman guys brick a couple easy follow-ups
Paul literally covers the ball in gasoline and lights it on fire

Illinois wins 61-58

Illinois is on that channel again tonight, what's now called CBS Sports Network, facing Illinois State down in Cancun at approximately 8:30p.

Hell yeah! When he signed I thought he was probably just short of being a Big Ten player, but I don't believe that anymore. The kid is tough as nails. He's exactly what last year's team lacked.

My mom and his grandmother grew up together and were really good friends. There may be a couple older guys here (Aggravated Bob?) who remember his dad, Carl playing for Dick Versace at Gordon Tech. Carl ran the point for some good Versace teams at Gordon, then on to Jackson (MI) Community College, and finally at Bradley.

I know BRick and I had discussed who would be the 2011-12 B&b anointed white college basketball devil. I think we'll be hearing about how Sammy is "bad at basketball" soon enough. The guys on the 1-6 show just can't get their heads around the idea that a player like Maniscalco is better than Jereme Richmond. They views players as what they think they can be rather than as what they really are.

Maybe Illinois can start giving money to the Score and get him off the hook like Jon Shurna will be?

Shurna is the perfect candidate for the "bad at basketball" honor by B&B. He's actually pretty good but since Bernstein read nbadraft.net and saw that Jon Shurna wasn't listed he's bad.

It's a good year to be above average in the Big Ten. Illinois looks like they may be a real threat to be second place.
