EMU is average to below average. I am watching to see if Harnish can get his 1500 and 3000.

Did VY even achieve that landmark? Harnish has been fun to watch...

So where do you put harnish in regards to recent quality mac qbs the last decade? Rapey McGee is obviously #1, but who is 2? Josh Harris? Lefevour?... I think Harnish is right up there...

Plus the champ game and the bowl game where the ncaa does include those stats in the season total...

I'm sure there are some names we are forgetting about but he probably belongs in the top 5. The Ball state guy was good a few years ago. Gradkowski was from Bowling Green I think.

I forgot Marshall used to be in the conference. You have Chad Pennington and Byron Leftwich.

Harnish finally broke one.

I think he is at 1332 rushing now. The stats from the championship and the bowl game count so he is in good position to get those 2 marks now.

All good man. EmU looks quite below average, but both teams, aside f/ Harnish, are sluggish w/ this 10am start...

Pennington only played in the MAC for 1 year...they were still a 1-AA his first couple of years.

They might want to win this game or else there will probably be no MAC championship and thus no record!!

I thought EMU outplayed us and should have won.

We were awful on 3rd down and they were converting 3rd & longs at ease.

EMU's QB, Alex Gillet, kept them in the game but dropped TD passes by his players cost them the game.

We will have to play much better against Ohio to win next Friday. We looked dead on offense today. Only our defense came out to play.

Ohio gets 10 days to prep for us. We get seven days to get ready for them.

There's been a lot of good QBs in the MAC. Josh Harris and Omar Jacobs for Bowling Green, Ben Roethlisberger (and now Zach Dysert) for Miami, Bruce Gradkowski for Toledo, Nate Davis for Ball St, Dan Lefevour for CMU. WMU has had a couple good one's, Tim Hiller and now Alex Carder. Charlie Frye at Akron.

Not sure how high you can rank Harnish if he never wins the Title. Dan Lefevour won three of them.

i was at todays game, and commented to the guy i went with that i have never seen a QB step BACK to avoid a rush like Gillet. He took some of the longest worst sacks i have seen all year today. He kept fading back, and back and back to avoid pressure and then eating it and taking the sack! they did pick up a LOT of 3rd downs. NIU is lucky to come away with a win today.
