If he reaches those marks, he would be the first player in college football history to throw for 3,000 yards and rush for 1,500. The closest any player has ever approached is Cam Newton's 2011 season, when he passed for 2,854 yards, rushed for 1,473 and won the Hesiman Trophy and Walter Camp Award.

Harnish as of today:

Passing: 2,594 yards (25th nationally) with 22 passing touchdowns and four interceptions
Rushing: 1,203 yards (8th nationally and 1st among QBs) and 10 touchdowns
