I was happy to see Wisconsin lose. I don't think Oregon or Wisconsin play much defense, but Oregon's "fast break offense" is pretty entertaining. It's too bad this game wasn't on regular TV, but I guess they put it in prime time, so it had to be on cable.

I was also happy to see Stanford lose. I am pretty sick of the Andrew Luck hype. Oklahoma State also runs that Oregon-type offense. If Alabama wins the BCS game it's entirely possible that OK State wins the BCS championship. Standford had the game in hand, but they made the mistake of trusting the game to the kicker. Once he missed the game winner, OK State was back in the game. When he missed the 2nd kick, OK State was ready to finish Stanford off.

I also like watching these games with the DVR in fast forward mode because these bowl games are longer than a regular NFL game.

If you read that in Bernstein's Tim Tebow voice, it is almost worthwhile.

I believe that is 100% impossible.

Me too. If that were to be the case, it wouldn't be the championship game, would it?

Another team can still split if the other poll votes for them as the winner, which could happen but would likely be LSU still getting it, but the winner of the BCS National Championship Game is required to be #1 in the coaches poll and therefore they are the BCS champions. The AP could award OK State or LSU a national title still.

I was hearing about the Stanford kicker, that he was inconsolable after the game, crying all over the place. His teammates came up to him individually to help him.

On the split talk, as much as I would like to see Oklahoma State get a championship shot, but for College Football's sake, I do hope LSU wins.

On the games being on cable, they use to be on network tv.
