Game 5 of the 1994 Eastern Conference Semi-Finals vs. the Knicks. The series was tied at two games apiece. There were 2.1 seconds left in the game. Bulls were up by 1 point with a chance to steal one in NY (the home team had won every game up to that point).

Knicks were down to their last possession and they inbound to Hubert Davis, who jacks up a 3-pointer with Pippen in his face. Hue Hollins calls a foul on Pippen who came nowhere near touching Davis on the play. Regardless, Davis goes to the line, makes the foul shots and the Knicks wind up winning the game and eventually the series.

That one play altered the course of the entire 1994 Playoffs.

Not even fucking close.

Thos 2 Jordan-less seasons proved that Pippen could win without Jordan and was a damn good motherfucking basketball player. Probably should have an MVP in his trophy case as well.

It's funny, when people discuss Pippen or the Bulls without Jordan they just gloss over those 2 years and how awesome Pippen was, esp. 1994 when the Bulls were supposed to be garbage or at best average.

A couple baskets here or there and proper refereeing and the Bulls may have another Finals appearance and maybe a another ring to add to the collection.

Go rewatch that game. Rose was running from the ball the last few possessions. When Webber called Timout, Rose was just getting over the half court line.

First off, he should have been handling the ball or asking for it before Webber pulled up his dribble. He definitely should have been there when Webber got trapped.

Rose shrunk from the Big moment and the result was Webber's timeout
