Hermosillo recently committed to play football and baseball at the U of I. Broke the OHS single game rushing record last night in the Pirates 49-0 win over Yorkville last night.
Hermosillo carried the ball 9 times for 351 yards and scored 5 touchdowns.
From people that I have talked to back home in Ottawa. They think Hermosillo is a better baseball than he is a football player.
He is going to be on a football scholarship and walk-on for the baseball team for the Illini.
Will be interesting to follow him this season.

cant wait for October 5th when they play my beloved Dixon, that could get ugly in a hurry. i wasnt planning on taking that road trip, but this kid might be worth the drive to see.

I agree...I might have to take a drive home from Naperville and watch the Pirates play.
