We actually have a night game against Vandy. I thought that would be pretty fun. Vandy has been on a tear with recruiting over the last two years. I bet this should be a close game. Any interest?

All I need to put this together is a hard count of members who want to go to this game. But I don't think it makes sense to order a block of tickets unless I get a firm commitment of like 8 CSFMBers.

FYI, Aaron Rodgers little brother (Jordan, I believe) is the QB for Vandy.

Game is Sept. 8th at 7pm for any of those interested.

A couple of us that frequent the NCAA College Football/Basketball forum were talking about having another CSFMB outing at the Northwestern vs. Vanderbilt game. It is on Sept. 8, 2012 with a 7:00 PM kickoff. I'm guessing tickets will be $40 for normal tix. $30 for corner and $20 for endzone.

The game should be a relatively good one. Vanderbilt has actually been improving under the new head coach. Recruiting has yielded some really promising talent. Aaron Rogers' little brother, Jordan, is the starting QB for the Commodores. The game is also a rare night game, so it avoids alot of the conflict for those of us that have kids.

I would be happy to purchase a block of tickets if you want to all sit together. I will also host the tailgate as we have a parking spot that is great for tailgating. I'll even bring the pulled pork and cornbread. Oh and plenty of beer too.

We can use this thread as a sign up. If there really isn't much interest, I can still purchase tickets, but I'd likely scrap the big tailgate.

I'd likely be interested for two.

One last reminder and you won't have to suffer another post from me! I've ordered the NU/Vandy tix, but there are still available tix at the ticket office that you can pick up. I'll be setting up around 4:30 PM, and expect to be ready to go by 4:45 PM. We'll have plenty of food and libations.

For those coming by train, the lot is right off the purple line (Central Street Station). For those coming by car, I actually recommend parking on the street (residential neighborhood) just west of Ridge (on Grant or Colfax) and crossing the Golf Course to get to the tailgate area. It is on the Peter Jans Golf Course right off of Central St. I have a Black Chevy Traverse and there will be a large flagpole with a Northwestern and Blackhawks flag to make things easy.
