It's going to be fascinating to see how many cars are involved in this train wreck when the real stories start to come out. I've already read some rumors that are scary. This is going to be good.

The Tim Beckman Era should be a great book....just in case there is a former Illini/author/college football fan around these parts looking for a new project.

Really just no excuse for the unprofessional move by Jim Bridge to depart Illinois for Purdue at this juncture.

Unfortunately I don't have any sources that would help me much on that kind of project. Plus, I don't see that one being a big seller.

When you get a chance to take a coach at Illinois you have to jump at it.

The new coach up here at Wisconsin is all pissy because one of his new hires just left to take the same position coaching position down at Oklahoma. I love it when coaches who leave kids left behind that they told to their parents they will be there for them do this, just makes me  .

I agree coaches bitching about assistants jumping ship after a few weeks should shut the fuck up. They would do the same thing if a better (or in anyone leaving U of I, more secure) job came along.

Dr. Ken.....is Beckman one of the historically bad Illinois hires? Can't wait till the stories start coming out.

I think so. I've got ILLINOIS tattoed on my liver and I wanted him fired after about 3 weeks.
