He is a little *****, who claimed to have "played D1 baseball" then when it was pointed out that Duke did not have a D1 program at the time he was a student he changed his mantra to "I played club ball."

He is a bigger fraud than Alfraud or any of the other guys he plays gothca on.

What a fraud.

Bernstein claiming to play D1 baseball when Duke did not have a D1 team should disqualify him from commenting on anything.

The fact that he's back pedaled to claim he "played club ball" is even worse.

The guy is a LIAR and a jock sniffer.

What I find most interesting about this story is what will happen with "Chicago's College", Northwestern. WSCR had a lot of Fitzgerald and the NU football last year. Is NU booted, do both teams and the hosts generally play nice?

NIU and IU football will lead to some boring days of broadcasting on fall weekends. I would bet we'll see Saturdays as NIU, IU and national programs with Steven Berger being our only link to chicago.

What I find most interesting about this story is what will happen with "Chicago's College", Northwestern. WSCR had a lot of Fitzgerald and the NU football last year. Is NU booted, do both teams and the hosts generally play nice?

All they are doing is carrying Illini football games. It's not like they are going to stop reporting (badly) on local college sports.
