I am watching the battle of the Carolinas. The announce team seems hell bent on nitpicking the shit out of Clowney tonight.

Where the hell are all the Hoosier fan(s)? They are opening their big 10 championship campaign right now.

No one is a fan of IU football. Now IU tailgate is a whole nother animal. bigfan

Should be a beastly season for The Ohio State Buckeyes. UMN, I know you're eating it up in OH.

I didn't see earlier but he looks unblockable to me.

He wasn't in on every snap so they were suggesting he might be out of shape.

If every Gamecocks game is going to be a Clowney-a-thon by the announcers they will be a awful watch. There's 21 other players on the field. Fuck.

I almost can't watch a gamecocks game all season because of all the ESPN-masterbation over Clowney

Other thoughts:
Such a fun ending to that Vandy game. Vany looked like Northwestern falling apart there at the end!

I didn't see the IU game, but hard to gain too much info against The Fighting Larry Birds. So is Tre Roberson the QB or Sudfield after this game?

Was impressed with what I saw from Minnesota in the second half. Once again, hard to gain too much info from playing UNLV, but they looked like a different team in the second half. Knocked the rust off good.

I know Towson has a good program and UConn is a big least castoff but losing to them should still be embarrassing.

IU will lose a bunch of games but they'll light up the scoreboard. The year they went to a bowl after coach Hep died they used that strategy. Luckily they won for Hep and reached the 6 game minimum. The game they beat Purdue was glorious!!!!!

I'm very curious on the progress of Braxton. Guy is a beastly athlete but hope he becomes a much better QB than Troy. Troy developed nicely but that was under glorious Tressel. Lets hope for a BT sweep.

He is going to dominate the NFL for 6 years and be good for 4 more.

Love my college football! Right now,Illini football looks like it hasn't changed. 3rd and inches on SIU's 4 yard line, they call for a QB rollout. Sheelhouse completes the pass for a TD BUT holding is called. Terrible play call even if it looked like it worked. This coach doesn't seem to bright.

Rudock looking the part for Iowa. And how great would Jordan Lynch be with a real offensive line and receivers? Making all the passes and placing them perfectly.

That last drive really screwed NIU. Didn't stop the clock and had to punt from their own 15.

Wow. Clutch interception. Clutch field goal. Can't blame Rudock too much... He had a great debut.

There are some crazy uni's this year. I can do weird like Maryland last year but these chrome shiny glittery messes some teams are wearing are just too much. Miami of Ohio for example.

The new Northwestern Uni's and helmets look sick....unfortunately so does the run defense.

Well so much for Colter. He just got the shit knocked out of him and got up completely dazed and unable to keep normal balance.

Kain who? It's the Trevor Siemian show, silly rabbit.

Colter officially out with an upper body injury. History of a bad shoulder, but thought it was a concussion.

That was absolutely a concussion. They are just using hockey terms. Notice how they have repossessed his helmet. The medical staff only does that for concussions so there is no way he can sneak back into the game.

That's not true. I've seen them take the helmet for many reasons. But I agree that it looked more like a concussion.

Talked with a former but recently former head football athletic trainer for a college and they have to take the helmet for concussions but they can take it if they fear the player may return to play against the instructions of the medical staff. Each individual medical staff may have their own rules though.

Back to the games. Looking forward to Loooooville and Ohio University and Mickey Tettleton's kid at Qb.
