This really only applies to the college game because they have the running clock in high school.

Lets say its a 50 pt lead in the 2nd half and the team that is winning has pulled their starters and even some of their 2nd string and is running the ball. As the losing team do you respect the fact that you have been owned and the other team is calling off the dogs? This would entail probably pulling some of your starters and primarily running the ball to keep burning clock so you can get the hell out of there and back on the bus.

I was watching a game yesterday where this situation occured but the losing team kept its starters in and was running the fucking no huddle and passing nearly every down. This was effectively burning about 1 minute off the clock per possession. The team that was up big seemed to be a bit irritated at this and they put up another few scores (still running plays by the 2nd string but you could tell when they are busting 30 yard gainers that there is some effort behind it).

Which coaching staff is the dick here?

Don't embarrass the other team unless it is a rivalry game.
