Yeah, but Kain Colter will be your boss one day.

I keep picturing the scene from "Field of Dreams" where Costner is angry that he wasn't invited into the corn, but with Fitz as Costner demanding to interview for the USC job and the ghost saying, "You better stay here, Coach."

It amazes me that Pat Fitzgerald is now 26-34 in Big Ten games.

Wondering if Fat Pitzgerald might try the NFL next year if this keeps going south. Would they even hire him, though?

He stays at NU until Ginny Mccaskey dies. Then he takes a look around!

Lots of Dominoes in that Bear Camp!

Have to be close to 100 McCaskeys with Bears Shares, all non voting and essentially worthless as I am sure they show very little profit after salaries are taken.

So if you owned .5% of the Bears, which is easily worth $5M, are you looking to sell or keep getting a check for $40K a year?

Brian Kelly and Kevin Sumlin for sure would be ahead of him.

Then again, a guy from Syracuse that wasn't even good at Syracuse was hired so he probably could jump if he wanted.

The radio interviews where he says "Jacksonville's NFL team" would be priceless though.

Probably Shaw, too. Considering how similar he is to Schiano, I doubt any NFL team will want Fitzgerald for a while.

Agree with both, he is behind a number of coaches.

Unless BEARS job opens and Pat Ryan Sr owned a controlling interest in the Bears.

Jaguars should hire Beckman instead. That's a team that needs some WINT.
