It will be interesting to see what Purdue can do when not playing Big Ten powerhouses like Ohio State, Wisconsin, and NIU.

In that vein, can we thank Nathan Scheelhaase for his service and just let Aaron Bailey get some experience? At least until Wes Lunt takes over.

Can't do it to Scheelhaase. I realize it. He's a 4-year starter so they can't bench him when he's playing pretty decently.

The good thing about going to a game at Purdue is that it's a pretty easy drive.

The bad part is that you can't laugh or talk at a normal volume while tailgating or else you get dirty looks from the students and senior citizens around you.

My son is getting his first experience at a college FB game. He probably would have more fun at the Glenbard North game here locally but I paid less for the tickets at Purdue!

Hopefully Iowa gets better soon and makes this game worth paying for.

Iowa always find a way to make games interesting. This game will be decided on a last second throw near the end zone that is batted down.
