Can Purdue score for the first time in over 8 quarters? Can they get over 226 yards of total offense?

I like your answers. Especially since I'll be making the trip down to Ross Ade with my 95 cent tickets!

Wisconsin has a huge non conference game with BYU. Kind of weird to see them playing a non conference game this late in the year.

Illinois…Indiana…this time it's personal…..

For the love of God and all things Holy, Lord Christ Almighty, for Pete's sake and love of country, god damn Tim Beckman beat Indiana for the love of Cleopatra so I don't have to see highlights of Illinois' last Big Ten win in 2011 (which was also an Indiana game) during EVERY DAMN game!!

I hope Ron Zook and AJ Jenkins are getting residuals for as often as that thing runs.

It will be interesting to see what Purdue can do when not playing Big Ten powerhouses like Ohio State, Wisconsin, and NIU.

I expect Danny Etling to become a star in front of you. Welcome to the future of Big Ten football.

In that vein, can we thank Nathan Scheelhaase for his service and just let Aaron Bailey get some experience? At least until Wes Lunt takes over.

Don Tiny is a Wes Lunt.

I do find some decisions Beckmann makes to be strange. When Purdue realized this team was terrible we moved our starting QB to safety the day after he was benched as the starter. I can only imagine the conversation was like "Son, we are going to give the young guy a chance, now go out there and play the exact opposite position".

I believe he started the next game at safety too.

Maybe Schellhaase can play corner.

Can't do it to Scheelhaase. I realize it. He's a 4-year starter so they can't bench him when he's playing pretty decently.

I'm sorry your getting any type of production from the quarterback position. It must be rough.

 I don't want to brag but we've been averaging 10 points/game over the last 2 weeks.

In fairness, our 1 points per week average in the last 5 weeks is lowered by having two bye weeks.

Oh yeah, our coordinator is John Shoop. Yes, the same John Shoop you all remember hating with the Bears.

He was better at North Carolina, who also seemed to cheat like hell and Purdue is too cheap to pay players on the side.

The good thing about going to a game at Purdue is that it's a pretty easy drive.

The bad part is that you can't laugh or talk at a normal volume while tailgating or else you get dirty looks from the students and senior citizens around you.

My son is getting his first experience at a college FB game. He probably would have more fun at the Glenbard North game here locally but I paid less for the tickets at Purdue!

Indiana is going to crush them.

I feel very honored to have witnessed that game live (Kind of, tailgated and then went to the bar to watch  ).

Hopefully Iowa gets better soon and makes this game worth paying for.

Iowa always find a way to make games interesting. This game will be decided on a last second throw near the end zone that is batted down.

Neither team is NU and leave players out of the end zone!

This is actually the offensive game plan for Purdue. Get the ball to the 50 and then throw a hail mary.

Iowa's safeties are as bad as the Bears.....That plan might work.

I will say this is one of the games I thought Purdue would win before the year, I did think also they would have 1 win coming into it too.

I had this hope that if the Illini won today we could still get a bowl.

That defense. Wow. Bad.

Scheelhaase has been a decent quarterback at times but I'll be happy to see him go. He's just kind of a guy who is never spectacular and makes dumb choices with the ball when you shouldn't.

Scheelhaase and Brown have been the only respectable things about this team at all. 35 points should be enough to win a game.

Beckman having Bailey run back-to-back keepers was ridiculous as well.

Yep! This was the first Illini game I watched this year. How much more of Beckman will be allowed? I couldn't believe the back-back runs into the line either by your "running" QB.

I really thought that a defensive coach from a defensive powerhouse in a defense-oriented conference like the MAC would have been able to build a better defense.
