Oreginand A&M just excluded themselves from a BCS game today. Does this all but ensure a team like auburn gets in no matter what? Or Wisconsin? Or - pause - USC????

Alabama has a spot no matter what, probably FSU too. Fresno/NIU takes a spot. Who is left after conference championship games?

And it is absolutely great......to be....... A Florida gator.

Wisconsin should get some love because they were absolutely fucked on that clock management bullshit by the officials at the end of the Arizona St. game. They are probably too far away in the rankings though to get in. The loser of MSU OSU will get one of those vacated spots from today.

USC has a couple of scenarios to get a spot.

THAT is crazy, considering the start to their year.

I cannot see this happening for a number of reasons, none of which have anything to do with NIU.

Add Baylor to the list of BCS teams shitting the bed today.

How would you like to be Ohio State, going to play what before the season your toughest game Michigan, they have 4 losses now, haven't lost a game in 2 years and need teams to lose to get a shot at the title game. Ohio State still has to beat Michigan State too.

Here is what I think happens, Florida State does win out, beats Florida and probably Duke, I could see Auburn winning next week, but more than likely Alabama does, see Missouri losing 1 more game, looking like it will be to A&M. What if South Carolina upsets ALabama in SEC game, can Ohio State jump Bama?

Haven't heard much of Clowney all year, but what if he brings a special performance in that game.

The Ohio State schedule makers should have invested a little more though in their decision to continue going forward with the dog shit non conference schedule. I wouldn't feel sorry for them one bit and last year doesn't have shit to do with this year so I don't need to hear about their winning streak......A winning streak that was missing the hardest game on the schedule last year because they were banned from participating in it.

It should go beyond that. Every AD in the Big Ten should pressure tOSU (and all of the rest of the counterparts) to schedule better. They need to do something differently......because this ain't working.

And Fresno does over NIU? Fresno's best wins are by 1 point over a garbage Rutgers team and 1 point over a 4-loss Boise team.

Iowa, Ball State, Toledo, and EIU are all better wins than any of their best wins.

When you actually look at it, in the year 2013, NIU gave Florida State its toughest test with the game being 17-10 in the 4th qtr. Florida State has crushed every team since our game.

Yea...no one thinks Fresno belongs either. Actually, much less so than NIU.

What about Central Florida? They are better than Fresno and NIU.

They won at Louisville and at Penn State. Their only loss was by three points to South Carolina.

Put down the Kool-Aid. NC State and Florida beat FSU last year. FSU drubbed NIU by 21 points.

That was a different team. It's a ridiculous argument. Especially when you figure that this year's FSU team beat BC by 14.

This.

They should've beaten S Carolina as well. They blew a big lead late after manhandling the ol Ballcoach's boys for about 50 mins.

UCF also needed a miraculous catch to beat 1-win Temple a couple weeks ago.

At least we have the computers because i have no idea why the human poll voters have them so far ahead of us.

Just think of the reasons behind Jake Locker or say Matt Barkley falling so far in the draft. They were on display in HD.

 - at the team that drafts him above the 4th round.

You can play six degrees of separation, and come to any conclusion you want. If you really want to make a case for NIU, strength of schedule should not be one of your 'pro' arguments.

You're right. Sad thing is over the last two weeks we beat a 9-win and 7-win team by 21 and 18 points.

Meanwhile, over the last two weeks Fresno had a bye week and then beat 3-win New Mexico.

Guess which team gained more votes in the Coaches and Harris Polls?

Need Iowa to take care of Nebraska this week.

We are not competing with UCF for a BCS bowl game. They are in an AQ conference. If they win out they automatically go to a BCS game.
