Looking forward to this one.

Normally I would be pulling for Sparty in this one, but tonight I am pulling for the Buckeyes. I really want to see a National Championship without the SEC.

There are only 2 instances where I would not root for a situation where no SEC team makes the final......ND gets in or Urban Meyer gets in. Therefore, go Sparty.

It will be fun to watch one of these defenses play against Baylor or Mizzou. Neither will be scoring 27 in the first half, for sure.

We could potentially be a Duke win (down 7-0) right now from an all SEC title game. That would suck.

Duke is not winning that game, just need them to cover. +29...

Looks like it's up to Braxton Miller to win this one.

Congratulations Michigan State!

I underestimated how good of a running back Miller is.

Nonsense!!! I watched some North Dakota State FCS football and North Central in the D3 playoffs today. Both quite entertaining. The Mount Union game today was insane. They had a 31-0 lead and eventually won 62-59 but not before allowing the opponents 633 yds and 8 tds through the air.

I have enjoyed all the games I have watched today. OU and Okla St, then Mizzou and Auburn, and now this one.

Well executed but ill-advised onside right there.

I missed the OKST/OU game because I was driving back from effing Detroit.

I saw most of the SEC game. It was comical at some points - when both teams were handing off and scoring in 3 plays.

With the new rules about on-side kicks, that is the best way to do it, IMO. Kick it 20-25 yards downfield and try to beat them to the open spot. Seems better than 4 guys trying to wait for the ball to go 10 yards.

Yeah, but why give up the field position after just taking the lead?

Can one of you guys explain to me the new way teams line up to punt? LIke right there, you let guys get too close to your punter with a full head of steam. Just seems stupid to me.

Were 3 minutes away from the SEC going for 8 in a row.

Michigan State just scored a td, so looking like Aubrun vs FLorida State, unless Ohio State scores 10 points in the last 2:16 to tie it up.

Theory behind it is it is easier to cover the punt.

And when did the rules about the running clock change? On one run around the left end, the Spartan RB was tackled on the white line out-of-bounds. Yet, the clock continued to run. I thought it might be a flag for a late hit OOB, but the running clock was a better penalty in the long run.

Michigan State to the Rose Bowl, Auburn to the title game.

If a players forward momentum is stopped in bounds the clock continues to run.
