I'm reading an article about how tonight's field was laid on top of the field used for the rose bowl five days ago. I wonder if that will effect footing at all. http://www.mydesert.com/article/20140104/SPORTS04/301040057/West-Coast-Turf-replaces-field-Rose-Bowl-prepares-BCS-game I just hope the game is entertaining, or at least lands on one of my squares.

I thought after the MSU/Stanford game last week they said they would be removing the current surface and replacing it for tonight...not going on top. |

On Thursday morning(?) ESPN had a college football show going & showed the crews laying new sod directly over the old field. Said they'd been out by 4-5 am & the field would be fine in 3 days. Must have their own wing of the Bossard family out there. |
