Reading specialist Mary Willingham says so: In a CNN story last week, Willingham said her research of 183 football or basketball players at UNC from 2004 to 2012 found 60 percent reading at fourth- to eighth-grade levels and roughly 10 percent below a third-grade level. When Michael Jordan was asked why he majored in geography at North Carolina, his response: "I knew I would be going places, and I just wanted to know where I was when I got there". |

Jordan graduated. I think they will let you in and hang around with no ability but they won't give you that diploma. |
