NIU has the best record of any Illinois team in the past decade. Huskies put an exclamation point as Chicago's College FB team.

NW by 14. Nothing at all against NIU, but I don't see Northwestern starting at 0-2.

It will be a good win, regardless of who gets it.

Losing nine of your last ten and having your players unionize on you has to be one of the crappier runs a college coach has had in recent years.

NW is bad at football.

Are they better off with that Oliver kid?

That was a nice throw.

Go up in a scissor lift with high winds.

Hey - at least I predicted Michigan State's loss to Oregon yesterday. No one gets 'em all correct.

The B1G had a horrendous Saturday. They don't have a single team right now that's worthy of Top 15. And only a couple deserving of maybe 16 to 25.

NU is very bad at football. Oliver and Alviti wouldn't help much.

Our coaching staff is going to have to figure out this QB situation, we've played musical chairs with all three QBs for both games now.

Our kicking game needs a lot of work. Missed an easy FG right before halftime and then had a PAT blocked on our 2nd TD. We missed an a couple easy FGs in the first game of the season too.

Surprisingly RB Stingily returned for this game but was given only a few touches. He was expected to be out the first four games with an undisclosed injury. RB Akeem Daniels is a stud though.

I imagine it will be a long time before we see another NIU-NU matchup. That's disappointing because it would be a good in-state rivalry and the last two times NIU has helped fill up the stadium pretty well.

Northern Illinois helps fill someone else's stadium?!? In the land of the blind...

You obviously didn't watch the game. There's pictures on the internet with the crowd and there was a lot of cardinal red there. Even on the Northwestern rivals board they were talking about the large NIU contingent.

He's right. A lot of NIU fans. I'd say almost a quarter of the fans.

Two dog dirt teams and I had the pleasure of witnessing it live.

At least two Big Ten teams took care of business against the MAC.

Hey, we went 1-1 against the MAC. That's progress.
