Makes me sick. The cult is alive and well as evidenced by the rally held at Old Main yesterday. Oh but innocents were being punished. Poor little mollycoddled football players and idiot college students. Yeah, what about the innocent kids that are permanently scarred? Remember all the morons saying this program would be set back years from the scandal (including Boers)? The NCAA just comes off looking like a big bitch. USC and Ohio State's punishments are now on the level with Penn State's. |

A couple thoughts: 1. I think this was the NCAA plan from the get go. After all, the admin here didn't want to fight the sanctions - I see that as they knew it was really a two year thing if Penn State took appropriate actions (which, I can say from experience, they have - I have to do child abuse/abuser training every year among other things). 2. I am not a Truther. I loathe them. Most of the Penn Staters I know and work with are like me. The students chanting for Paterno are idiots (after all, they ARE undergraduates). Therefore, not all of us are creeps or support child rape. |
