It usually takes about every 5 years before NIU forgets about the last time they lost to the Illini and feels like coming back to lose again. |

NIU has won more B1G games the last two years than Illinois and NW combined. Which is not really a fair stat, since Illinois can't play itself |

Something like that? |

NIU also got another P5 team to come to DeKalb. Home and home with Boston College coming up in........50 years or so. |

I love ya, Doc, but referencing a game from 2001? When the Sugar Bowl-bound Illini beat a 6-5 NIU team by 5. At home. If Illinois wanted NIU on their schedule, NIU would be there. |

Ok. So I forgot the Illini's 6 point beat down of NIU in 2011. Whatever. I stand by my earlier statement. |

Going to be very interesting to see how NIU handles the beef of Ark's running game...Hare has looked great so far and has yet to turn the ball over, if NIU can win the turnover battle I think they have a chance...but I would be happy with a competitive game...NIU wins they have a true shot to run the table and will be fighting ECU for that access bowl spot! |

NIU needs to work on not giving up 3 TD leads. Arkansas a 14.5 point favorite. Hawger, does that sound about right? |

I would say that is high, but to be honest I have no clue about NIU. Arkansas looked like the old Wisconsin teams on Saturday at Texas Tech, they are huge up front as they average about 321 a man and they have a couple of really good backs. They still can't throw the ball. |
