I can't think of a black football coach that is talked about much in the media that really wants to come to Illinois and build something not be a transient. Maybe a D2 hot shot but that will not help recruiting will it?

No way can Illinois go back to D2, but if they want a black head coach, that drastically reduces the available talent pool to choose from, and increases the chance that they will have to settle for a coach rather than choose the best candidate.
