St Joes is not the St Joes of say.....10 years ago. And it's in Spokane.

I do like college hoops though. The 1-year and done thing has kinda ruined it in recent times, but still good, IMO.

It's a bad year to root against Kentucky.

I think so to Brick, they were really impressive the other night, although they struggled against Buffalo on Sunday.

maybe so, but it is one game. The national championship is a long way off.

I will gladly take the field in Nov.

Motivation is the only thing that can stop them. Cal's biggest problem is he ends up with a lot of players thinking about the draft at the end of February.

It will be fascinating to see if he still does his playing time like this in the tournament.

2 interesting Big 10 games tonight, Iowa vs Texas and SMU vs IU

I love the idea of depth, but at some point, Fran McCaffrey will learn his subs don't need to play as many minutes as the starters and they will be a better team for it.

Last night, the starting 5 played 12 minutes together and was something like a +10 against Texas. The rest of the rotations - bad.

Very impressive. Too bad national titles are not won in Dec.

Why is Duke playing Toledo, and only up by 4 at the half, 41-37.

Duke's going to win and win big, but Julius Brown--4th year senior our of Hillcrest down in Markham--is going down shooting.

Iowa State was upset yesterday.

What has happened to UCLA Basketball, I know Utah is good this year, but down 30 in the second half

That sucked.

Didn't make a three pointer until there was less than a minute left in the game...I think they were close to shooting 50% from the free throw line...and Niang played what many are saying the worst game of his career...can't have that shit in March.

Okie St at home on ESPN2 right now. They need to blow this one open in the 2nd half.

[Phew, too close for comfort. They need to be playing home conf. games in the 80s. I think Maryland exposed their half-court deficiencies. Niang should not be shooting 3s.]

Brick, I was very impressed with your Boilermakers last night, they will be heard from by the time the season is over if they stay healthy. Painter has got them headed in the right direction.

Thanks. They stumbled badly in December but they seem to be figuring things out now.

Could be an exciting time next year if they two 7 footers are both back.

 guess I need to wake up more, I just read Bricks post as saying if both 7 footers are black next year

That was a perfect shitstorm. The first stretch of the game deflated Iowa - they couldn't cover the perimeter and Wisconsin was hot.

Same thing happened in the second half against MSU where Iowa got blitzed.
