Game needs more like him, IMO

"Free Shoes University" is an all-timer. Even out of context, it's still a hilarious sequence of words. Guess it's Free Seafood now.

You can't spell Citrus without U-T is my personal favorite.

On a fire at the Auburn football dorm that destroyed 20 books: "But the real tragedy was that 15 hadn't been colored yet."

I've been a big fan of the old ball coach for forever. He's a laid back guy who has loose rules, kinda like Maddon. I'm disapointed that he is leaving mid season.

Have always liked him, always a great personality. But, finish what you started, hate when older coaches tell recruits and the world that they are going to keep on going and then pull this shit. Yes, he has earned the right to give the world of college football the Heisman, but dammit go out right. Even if it means getting your ass kicked.

What was the reasoning for the mid season quit?

Maybe it was a "mutual retirement" between him and USC.

Don't see how there is any reason out of the University to do that. I just saw how a top recruit from USC opened his reruiting yesterday after they kicked Sark out of practice, this is not the best way to handle reruiting, I assure you. I am an Arkansas fan remember.

Has he been coaching past few seasons or has he just been a figurehead like Bowden/Paterno?

The Ol Ball Coach has always coached, but his age has not helped him with recruiting and you can see it in their record.

the university moved his home game to LSU because it was raining. he probably wasn't on board with that one.

Have you watched the news lately and what has gone on down there, I don't quite think they moved it because it was a little rain.

While watching gameday this morning I heard something I did not know about the ole ball coach.

While playing at Florida he waved off the kicker and kicked a 40 yd game winning field goal.
