I always kind of wonder about what the actual standards are for guys going to places like Northwestern, Stanford, Vanderbilt, etc. |

All 3.0 are not the same There is a lot of interesting things when it comes to grades and recruiting. The NCAA clearinghouse regards a C in Physics, Honors Physics and AP Phyiscs all as two points out of 4 on the GPA sliding scale. So if you have a kid who is a D1 or D2 athlete that gets mostly Cs in honors classes, put them in regular and get the B to help the Core GPA and lower the needed ACT score. |
