Hey guys, it's about that time of the year to sign up for fantasy baseball and I've recently been informed that my longtime ~8 year league will finally fold this year after ~3-4 years of dwindling participation thanks to half-assed people toting the "NOT INTERESTED" sign... hell, last year one of these schmucks insisted "WEEKLY LINEUPS ARE A MUST!" and a couple of the other recruits agreed, thus causing the league to be "meh" and everyone else who played focus on their "real" leagues-- this was the death knell of the league, as the handful of legit players have caught on elsewhere.

I'm all about 5x5 roto on yahoo, where I've won 7/9 leagues I've participated in over the last two years, including my first-ever winner's league last season. While I'm eligible for another winner's league and always manage to entertain myself with "competitive" publeagues, I'd love to have one with actual internet/people I know so I wondered if there's a league or two here on the CSFMB that I can get into.

Obviously, while I love standard 5x5 roto I'd be willing to adapt to other settings and whatnot... so if you could handle the sproadic league msgboard babble from me, I'd provide quality competition for anyone who's up for it. You can check out my work on http://www.fantasybaseballcafe.com to see that I'm pretty good with this sort of a thing.

the e-mail addy is sinicalypse(at)gmail(dot)com and obviously I'm unflushable here on the CSFMB, so give me a jingle if there's a league I can join. Or shit, if anyone else wants to come together with me and start up a semi/private league I'd be willing to do that. Lord knows I'm around and interested enough to commish it, so I can do that too.

check out FSRU.com if you are interested in getting into another public league. He gives you good deals if you buy an existing team if there are any available. I would also be interested in getting into another league but like you said it would have to be weekly and I also love the 5x5 roto style. I have some thoughts on the categories however but we will discuss that if this gets that far

The site looks decent. I'll check it out in depth. I actually came here to get recommendations on which service to use for projections and and the like. I usually go to Rotowire or Fanball.
