rogers has the same chance of missing time as cutler and vick and any other q.b. in my opinion,
rogers, brees, brady, rivers, ryan, p manning and vick i like em in that order

I think the positive side on Peyton is that the expectation is that he will heal up this year, so if he's out the first three weeks, and then is rusty the next three weeks, you still have nine good weeks left from him, including the playoff run.

If you can find a good QB that can cover the first half of the schedule, I think it isn't a big problem taking Manning, and you'll likely be able to get him far later in the draft. Some names that pop up as easy covers for Manning (assuming you take Manning first) would be Cutler, Stafford, Sanchez, and Ryan or Freeman if you could grab them. Bad news is that Manning's bye week is 11 so you will lose one week of productivity.

auction or snake draft? snake stay away, auction draft - he's a cheaper 2nd qb ,if you get a servicable 1st that you can ride for 3 weeks...untill peyton comes back

I'd do it in a snake, just late -- maybe 8th qb off the board or something like that.

In most drafts that I have participated in A-Rod, Brees, Brady, Vick, Rivers are going ahead of Peyton. I haven't drafted him in any of my leagues. I'm a big fan of Peyton, but neck injuries aren't good.
