I knew I could wait until the end to get him.

Knile Davis will probably be a nice pick as well. The guy who took Jamaal Charles should have taken him, but his last three picks were Danny Amendola, Tim Tebow, and 34 year old free agent, Fred Jackson.

Fred Jackson in Seattle as the last pick probably won't be too bad (hindsight).....but Tebow???? WTF
I hope everybody made that guy cry

There wasn't even a sticker with Tebow's name on it. He had to write his name on a blank sticker.

He won the league last year. His name is on the trophy.

Finishing 11th out of 12 last year is probably my most embarrassing fantasy sports experience ever. My top four picks last year were Jimmy Graham, Brandon Marshall, Drew Brees, and Doug Martin. Everybody on my roster was hurt or bad. We sucked.

It didn't go well from me from the beginning. Some of us got there early as we decided to grill the food ourselves this year. My friend poured me a big cup of burbon mixed with ginger beer and I was starting to fly before we got to pick 1. I'm not going to blame the alcohol on the draft as I could see it just wasn't falling my way. AP went #1.

CBS gave me a D- on my draft. This doesn't concern me. They gave me the lowest grade in our league last year and I dominated the regular season.

QB
Bradford
Palmer

RB
Mc Coy
Ingram
Stewart
Michael

WR
A. Brown
Hopkins
Watkins
Quick
Wheaton

TE
Kelce

D
Denver

K
Hauschka

It started poorly with Brown as my first pick. I hate a WR that early but I am just not as big of a backer of Lynch as every fantasy publication seems to be. I like Brown because he seems to be targeted incessantly so that his weekly production is similar to that of a #1 back.

However, getting a WR #1 leads to all sorts of problems down the road, which I experienced. It forces your hand on decision, which lead to Mc Coy #2. I really liked getting Hopkins at #3 but then I reached on Ingram at 4. I am not as down as the world is on Watkins and I thought it was acceptable to take him at 5. However, now I have TWO Bills which is a recipe for suck.

I grabbed Kelce at 6 which I thought was a good pick. Stewart at 7 which I also liked at backup.

I was waiting on a QB as everyone decent was scooped up early and someone grabbed Matty Ice just before me in an earlier round. The three guys who hadn't grabbed QBs were basically in a standoff to see who would move first. Someone grabbed Eli just before me. I wanted him but I am comfortable with then going after Bradford and Palmer. Am I crazy for being much higher on both of these guys. Palmer was excellent last year under Arians before his injury. I see no reason why Bradford cannot be similar to Foles in his good year.

I then got Quick at 10, who I think will be able to start for me in some weeks. That's acceptable at 10. Wheaton at 11 is going to be pretty good while Martavius is on leave and he may be good enough to keep getting plays when he returns.

K and D went 12 and 13. I took a flyer on Michael at 14 as I'm hoping Dallas took him with a plan in mind.

I'm not thrilled. I still think it was a middle of the road draft, which is right where I was drafting. I just don't see guys on this roster who will ever have those explosive weeks where they win the game almost on their own. I'll be surprised if I finish in last place and equally surprised if I make the playoffs

The problem is that they base these grades on value, as defined by them. I'm not looking to draft value. I am looking to draft players that help me win. If a QB2 falls and I pick him up late, does that really mean alter my possibility of winning week to week?

yes

you have a sneaky good team then.

Antonio Brown should not have dropped to 6th. Your WR roster will be the envy of the league. You should be able to package a WR and RB to upgrade your RB2 spot.

I'm with you. These idiots think they drafted me a great team while I'm scouring the scrap heap looking for a RB and WR (Alshon might not play this week?!?!?!?). It's considerably more difficult when you have no idea who any of those assholes are.

I think we are going to be talking about Hopkins as an elite WR going into next season. I'll be looking to get out of Watkins while the weather is still good in Buffalo.

Thanks for your thoughts cbs sports on line. I'm about to be the high point scorer for the week after Sam Bradford makes a couple of plays

3-0 but in all kinds of trouble

I imagine the Steelers are going to go run heavy with Vick. I'm still expecting good games from Antonio Brown but not great games

Mc Coy is obviously hurt. Dion Lewis has been a great find but who knows what Belicek will do week to week. Jonathon Stewart will probably break out soon after I drop him

Sammy Watkins is going to be inconsistent all year. I was hoping to shop him after a good week but it didn't happen.

I'm worried.

2-1

My team is shakier than shakes.

As with dolphin, the rock Brown isn't going to generate 25%-30% of a winning week of scoring for the next month.

Lamar Miller sucks. Chip Kelly is a joke. Jordan Matthews is a mirage. No idea what Stevie Johnson will do week-to-week. And then Anquan Boldin has Kap throwing the ball to who knows where.

At least I have Latavius Murray doing things.

I likely will finish with a mediocre record and no playoffs.

I dropped Wheaton this week. I figured he was a four week tryout guy until Bryant returned. He did ok. I doubt the Steelers will be throwing the ball as much with Big Ben out so he is gone. I picked up Ted Ginn. He has been sneaky good this year and he gives some possibilities with special teams

on the verge of 4-0, unless Eric Ebron goes off tonight

I started the week with a nice stable of running backs...not great but nice. Down goes Mc Coy. Down goes Dunbar. I'd say now I have a rotation of RB with Ingram, Lewis and Stewart. Still not horrible with potential week to week but that can also be rough. I still think Stewart will eventually come through for me.

I somehow got by, even with Jeremy Hill on the bench.

Because of injuries and byes I pretty much punted this week but I hold a 4.9 lead with Seattle D against Jimmy Graham. The undefeated season still has a chance.

stewart is never going to be a rb2 this year. he's almost on pace for 1000 yards (you only need 60 yards a game to hit 1000).. but his inability to get TD's makes him unplayable IMO.

I scored the second fewest points this week. Good thing I played the guy who scored the fewest. The fantasy gods are smiling on me.
