Thanks, both. I offered Schaltz and Hubbard for Kareem Hunt but the dude countered with Hines for Schaltz. He needs a TE since that's a black hole on his roster and I need a RB2 (I have Pollard, Mattison, Sermon, Dillon, and Hubbard).

I'm inclined to offer Andrews for Hunt since I can't rely on Pollard, Mattison, Sermon, Dillon or Hubbard as RB2s unless they take on more work. I can also dangle Robert Woods if AJ Brown ever wakes up, since Brown and Jefferson are my WRs and Woods is flex. Maybe Michael Thomas can be my flex if I trade Woods. I just need a RB2 as that's my weak spot currently.

Thoughts welcome.

FWIW ... Current rest of the season projections have Hunt ranked 23 and Himes ranked 27. I would make the deal for Himes before he changes his mind. You get the perfect mid tier RB for a dude you'll never play.

Damn, I forgot to ask. Are you playing in a PPR?

Yes PPR but also Hunt seems to be playing at a level above Hines. Double digit scoring in my league at least in all four games thus far. Maybe your rankings are for standard?

I'm looking at 'rest of the season' projections for a PPR league. I agree, if you had the choice between Hunt and Hines for Schultz, of course Hunt would be my fave as well. But you have an opportunity to grab a decent RB, especially in a PPR format, without having to give up Hubbard or a top four TE like Andrews. In my world, back up TE are a waste of a roster spot. You can easily stream one when Andrews has his bye in week 8. I'm not saying Hines in an every week play, but would be a nice piece in a rotation based on match-ups.

Who are you considering for RB2 this week?

Anyone got any sneaky replacements for Calvin Ridley and/or Julio Jones?

It seems like a lifetime ago when I won this league with Henry, Carson, Mack, and Mixon in the backfield. Now I have 0 of them (as my dumbass had to trade Henry to get Dak back after I kept big Ben over him coming off of big Ben's last top-5/ish year, then Dak got hurt) and of course I shuffled Damien Williams out last week thinking Montgomery would survive one more week. Oi vey

Kadarious toney. Shepard and slayton both out for NYG this week and he opened some eyes in the slot against NO last week. I wasn’t going to start him in Shepard came back but now that he is out I’m going with him. And that game likely will become a shootout or garbage time for NYG.

Hubbard vs Mattison. Both are starting.

Watch reports on their starting backs and decide which will get less time. Looking like both Cook and McCaffrey will be back this week. If you had to pick one right now, it's probably Hubbard.

Definitely Hubbard. I think Cook will play. If he doesn't, I would definitely go with Mattison in a PPR league.

Starting RB locked in - Zeke, Jones

One WR locked in: DJ Moore

Leaning to Hunt at Flex and Lockett at WR (over Lamb)

Lamb.. geno smith is garbage

Id go Herbert over Hunt, sounds goofy but I can see Herbert going for a TD and 75 yards.. 25 yards receiving

Myles gaskin vs. Atlanta or Khalil Herbert vs. Tampa

Gaskin has been really frustrating, but the one time I sat him he went off for 30 pts

Herbert will get whatever volume the Bears run which is more than Gaskin can say. I wouldn't hold out much hope for either this week.

Herbert had a better game than I thought, Gask8n outscored him though.

Yeah I went with Gaskin. Once Williams came back off Covid list I thought it was a no brainer as they would split carries.

The Packers' WR situation tonight has me re-thinking whether I should start AJ Dillon. Will his usage increase given how the Packers are down three pass catchers? Here are my choices

Dillon vs Hubbard (vs ATL)

Dillon vs Zack Moss (vs Miami)

Both leagues are PPR.

He could get more carries for sure, because I think they will use Jones as a WR more tonight.
