I read something about Tolbert being the lead back until further notice.

Yeah I did too. My only concern is that Nicks almost always puts up big numbers in every game he plays. Problem is he gets too ouchy.

I really need Holmes today. Even though he's active, I'm worried.

I'm starting to think Berry and Hasselbeck really don't like each other.

I don't think Berry is that great even though he's a decent dude. I listen to him everyday since I can play their podcasts at work but that's about it. Jaime Eisenberg on CBS Sportsline is much better IMO.

I heard about this too.
Only because he's a better pass blocker though...

Surprisingly, no one picked up Tate. (How am I 0-2 in this league?)

Who should I drop for Tate?

Starks
or
DeAngelo Williams
or neither?

I'm loaded at RB with CJ, Bradshaw, FJax, Tolbert, and SJax but I don't want to see the value sitting there.

D williams I think...Im the same guy that just Maclin though...FUCK ME

Ok I have a trade out there now because I need another RB.

Giving:
Wayne
Tolbert
Hernandez

for

Mendenhall
Colston

I know Colston is out for a few more weeks weeks but my WR are Nicks, Williams,Wayne. My thoughts are Wayne might be dead weight right now with no Peyton Manning and Hernandez won't play for me as I have Finley. So I suffer for a few weeks with no Colston as my 3rd WR.

That other guy has to be pretty stupid to make that trade. Unless he is beyond desperate for a WR and also incredibly deep at RB.

I actually changed the trade since than and the guy accepted it but just has to OK it when he gets home.

Mendenhall
Deshawn Jackson

for
Wayne
Tolbert
Finley

I have Hernandez on the bench right now so in anticipation of this trade I picked Fred Davis from Washington.

Wayne sucks and Hernandez is also hurt for a couple weeks. Good luck getting that one by him.

Thats why I updated the trade and put Finley in there but bumped up my request for D Jackson instead.

I didn't see that part. That guy is an idiot. You upgraded your offer to make the first deal more reasonable, but then somehow got a better WR that is actually healthy also?

Why am I not in this league again?

Look at it this way:
Tolbert/Mendenhall- Mendenhall
Jackson/Wayne- Jackson
Finley/Hernandez- Finley

I really don't know- it's very close. While Jackson is an upgrade over Wayne, he is an injury risk while Wayne is dependable. Mendenhall has the edge over Tolbert but it's relatively close. I don't think I'd make this trade since I'm not a fan of Mendenhall or DeSean Jackson. You don't win this trade but your team still might be better after completing it. I think I would wait till after this weekend and see how Tolbert runs on KC.

I drafted Jerome Simpson in a late round thinking I was smart. The plan started off well. I even had him starting this weekend.

8.5 pounds? That's the weight of a good sized newborn.

I'd say you're only slightly making out, but still making out.

MEGA for DMC is wash.

Hillis > Boldin. Although Hillis' carries are going to be limited. Ravens just can never get anything consistent in the air.

Bowe = Jordy. I would put greater than or equal to if I could. Jordy will provide more consistency even with all other weapons in GB's system. But Bowe is always going to be Cassel's go to, so it's a risk you might want to make or need to it sounds like.

Opinions?

I think I should do it, even though I would be prepared for only an above average season from Hillis. I'm weak at WR.

Megatron and Dwayne Bowe...I pull the trigger on this

What are you waiting for?

Megatron could be the #1 receiver this year. Top 5 guarenteed with good health. You know KC is going to be airing it out and Hillis is a good #2 back.

Done and done!!

I just added Bernard Scott after hearing the news about Benson. Now I am thinking about either trying to peddle Scott to Benson's owner or trying to acquire Benson from him. I thought I could maximize the value to me by trying to get Benson. What are your thoughts on this trade

Felix Jones for Benson

You need to make that trade right now. And not ask questions. KC's entire offense now is Bowe. And Hillis isn't gonna be AP, but he sure won't suck. Any chance to get Megatron you take.

Roddy White
for
Tolbert and Holmes

I'm trying to get White. Think it's fair?

I see you're trying to get White cheap as he hasn't been lighting it up yet. Good call.

I was offered Deon Branch and Antonio Gates for Owen Daniels and Miles Austin.

Gates and Austin are both hurt. I think in the long run my two guys are better, right?
