not a great spot but not bad I'm a Hopkins guy. I want to be a Hopkins guy again. I'm seeing his ADP at #5 so I need some luck. I drafted #12 last year and all 11 in front of me took RB while I grabbed value at 12-13 with WR. I won the league. First three will undoubtedly go Barkley-Kamara-Mccaffery in some order. I will probably need Mahomes to get drafted in the first six for Hopkins to fall. I suppose Elliott falls if Hopkins does not. He obviously comes with some risk but I'd be thrilled to have him at 7. I'm straight so Davante Adams can piss off. Maybe some self loathing Bear fan dickhead will value him as the #1 WR. My draft philosophy is to wait on QB and TE almost to the point of discomfort. So what if I end up with a guy like Wilson or SCam. You can win with those guys. Then you follow up with an undervalued #2 (as I did with Mahomes last year) and possibly catch lightning in a bottle. I think my dream 1-2 would be Hopkins and JuJu |

Davante is gonna lead the NFL in TD receptions. I'd rather have Connor at 7 than Zeke. |

It was shocking Antonio was on the board last year at 12 but they also love RB. I have him penciled in at 4. 5-6 are my trouble spots. Wild card guy at 5. By the numbers guy at 6. |

i dont know if i can pull the trigger on zeke... then you also have to pull the trigger early on pollard. we dont determine draft order until right before the draft so it makes it even more difficult to plan, i hope im not put on the spot with zeke ttonight |

I'm at #7 as well, but our league is extremely QB driven so I will likely get to pick a RB as Mahomes and Rodgers will likely be gone. Not sure if I can go WR #1... |

Elliott should now be downgraded out of the first round in my opinion but someone will think they are getting a steal late in rd 1. Personally, I wouldn't even take him in the second now. When Jones tells you he is going to miss games, this might be for the long haul. |

I broke far too many of my rules in drafting this team: Davante Adams Joe Mixon Amari Cooper George Kittle Josh Gordon D.J. Moore Tarik Cohen Derrius Guice Cam Newton Marquise Goodwin Broncos DST Kirk Cousins Harrison Butker Carlos Hyde -I took a Packer and even worse, I took him in the first round. I was forced into that pick. The guy in front of me took Hopkins and none of the five backs I had as value at 7 fell to me. I was roundly ridiculed and I deserved it. -I took a TE relatively early. Kittle in the 4th represented the best receiving option available, but going TE or QB before filling out RB/WR starter group just sets you back in you draft. -I fucked around at the QB position and am completely unhappy. I kept thinking, give it one more round before drafting, and I ended up getting at the tail end of a run. Some teams started picking backup QB early and I just read the draft incorrectly. Sure, Cousins is great against bad teams but the Vikings are going to be more run oriented. Who knows what kind of game Newton will have at 30? I was targeting Goff and Wentz and I just missed out on both. That also kept me from being able to take a flyer on a guy like Darnold, who may explode. I think that will prove to be my downfall the entire year. -I love my WR group. Adams might very well be the best WR in the draft. Cooper could be a WR1 and is a great 2. It doesn't take too much overprojection to think Gordon becomes another Patriot reclamation story. Moore is ready to break out and may be a WR2 by the end of the year. Goodwin was almost a 1,000 yard WR with Garropollo in the past. -I like my RB. I think the Bengals will ride Mixon and he really has no one stealing work from him. I was really happy to have him in the second. Hopefully Nagy learned a valuable lesson in the playoffs that he has to game plan getting the ball into Cohen's hands heavily every game. Everyone is projecting less work for him. I think his carries dip a bit but his receptions increase. The Redskins drafted Giuce to be the man. Gruden said he is running his offense through Giuce and reports are he wanted to cut Peterson. I have to rely on that info that he is going to be Gruden's workhorse. Hyde is going to be one of those guys who starts slow and then gets 15-20 carries per game by about game 6. There is no way Duke can shoulder a heavy carry load in Houston. Overall, I don't like my draft. The computer gave me an A-. Hopefully it is correct. |

Be wary of Mixon. They just extended Bernard and rumor has it Taylor wants to employ a multi back backfield. |

Mike Davis got 60% of what Bernard got and you think the Bears are gonna give Mike Davis 100+ carries. |

I don't like my team, but I don't hate it either. Zeke fell to me at #7 and I chickened out. So, that's my biggest regret. Springfield Isotopes 1. (7) David Johnson (Ari - RB) 2. (18) Tyreek Hill (KC - WR) 3. (31) Devonta Freeman (Atl - RB) 4. (42) Julian Edelman (NE - WR) 5. (55) Drew Brees (NO - QB) 6. (66) Mike Williams (LAC - WR) 7. (79) DJ Moore (Car - WR) 8. (90) David Njoku (Cle - TE) 9. (103) Kenyan Drake (Mia - RB) 10. (114) Jordan Howard (Phi - RB) 11. (127) Michael Gallup (Dal - WR) 12. (138) Philadelphia (Phi - DEF) 13. (151) Chris Herndon (NYJ - TE) 14. (162) Keke Coutee (Hou - WR) 15. (175) Josh Allen (Buf - QB) 16. (186) Adam Vinatieri (Ind - K) |

0-1 terrible performances by my top two guys and QB. Everyone else played pretty well. I got Marquise Brown in FA and dropped Goodwin. TB is going to suck. I saw someone dropped Russell Wilson. That will be my waiver wire addition next week. |

0-1 as well. With Hill being out, I grabbed Marquise too. Dropped Allen, and grabbed the GB D. |

1-1 Titans D and Zeurlein won it for me in one league. In the other, I was beaten by the top point scorer for the week. |

It sucks that Giuce is hurt. I expect him to come back but end up never being 100% this year. Mixon injury looks thankfully to be minimal. On the good side, it looks like Hyde is going to get plenty of carries in Texas. I expect them to lean on him in 4th Q as well and he will settle in as a 15 touches per week player. That is a pretty nice get in the last round. |

0-2 my team is dead as dicks. I will never break the rule of not drafting a TE early ever again. I did this to myself in taking Kittles early and waiting too long on a QB. |

well, Drew Brees got me -0.1 points yesterday. I'm 0-2, my team sucks. Looks like Matthew Stafford is going to be my Quarterback for the foreseeable future. |

I won...but my score wouldn't have beat any other team in the league. 1-2. It would be nice if Davante Adams actually did something with all of those targets. |

0-3 Julian Edelman left the game with a chest ouchie. I have more O on my bench than available players. |

Davante finally puts up a big game and then gets hurt I was 20 yards away from having one of those monster weeks where one guy wins the game for you |

I have Ridley and Godwin as my starting WRs with Tate, Tyrell Williams and AJ Green on the bench. Do I need an upgrade? Trade bait includes the above plus: Zeke, Gordon, Ekeler, and Bell. |
