Pretty standard league except you do get 1 pt per reception and 1pt for every 25 yards passing. I am going to keep Manning, not sure on the second.

Peyton Manning (Ind - QB)
Brandon Marshall (Mia - WR)
Hines Ward (Pit - WR)
Antonio Gates (SD - TE)
Ryan Grant (GB - RB)
Matt Forte (Chi - RB)

Marshall projects the highest, I believe. That's who I would pick.

I would pick between him and Grant, but apparently Grant suffered a head injury last night. Not sure how serious it is.

Im not high on Marshall at all. Im in love with Gates and I seem to find myself drafting him every year and Im very happy that I do. Miami runs the ball alot and very well. Chad Henne doesnt impress me really. Same reason why Im worried about Larry Fitzgerald this year in Arizona. I still think you can find a top WR that will do more than Marshall.

Not a fan of keeping TE's. Gates is probably the second best TE (DClark) out there, but he just doesn't do it for me as a keeper.

In my ESPN league, Marshall is projected 17th overall, and Gates is 47 for the upcoming season. Keeping the 47th projected player when in theory, you should have 2 of the top 24 players (12 team league) is a tough pill to swallow for me.

But if you do keep Gates, shop Marshall because you should be able to get a legit pick for him.

One other thing to consider: if you go into the draft with a QB & a WR, you pretty much know your next 2 picks are RBs. If you keep a TE, you're first 4 picks are going to be RBs and WRs and that list to choose from will get pretty slim pretty quickly. You'll still be able to get a serviceable TE later in the draft.

FWIW, our league has Ryan Grant predicted 13th and Forte 43rd.

You have to weigh the value of what your next best avab TE would be compared to the next best WR. Im guessing that the next best WR you could get would be someone like Roddy White or Miles Austin someone in that range. If he drops the TE not sure where the next best one would be. If you keep Marshall and than you have to go RB with the first pick your looking at Ryan Grant, Ryan Mathews, maybe Deangelo Williams. It depends on what you think the rest of the league is going to do. You might be able to still pick up Gates if you drop him.

Not sure what I would do. Personal perference would be Gates.

I getcha. My point is just, in a standard scoring 12 team league... Gates probably doesn't get drafted until round 3 or possibly 4. Marshall, and even Grant are taken in round 2. So with that said, I take the value pick.

But again, if you keep Gates, see what you can get for guys like Marshall and Grant. They might be able to fetch you some picks. Peyton + Gates and a couple extra picks might be worth it.
