Romo was my starter every week, even cut my old backup after Dallas' bye to pick up a couple of reach players. So scanning over the available pickups, my 'decent' options are: Ryan Fitzpatrick Chad Henne Vince Young David Gerrard Matt Hasselbeck Matt Moore A big pile of suck. Not sure if it'd be better to pick one and stick with him or just add/drop QB's on a weekly basis depending on match ups. I'm leaning towards Fitzpatrick, but I'm more than open to advice to people who are a lot better at fantasy than I am. |

I agree with Fitzpatrick. What do you guys think Kitna will do the rest of the year? |

Same here. Tried to get Fitpatrick, ended up with Kitna... |

Of those above options, I'm not sure if Jaguars QB David Garrard has been cleared to play after suffering a concussion 2 weeks ago vs. the Titans in Jacksonville. Todd Bouman was pressed into service at Kansas City. Ryan Fitzpatrick actually threw for over 300 yards last Sunday, but his Bills remain winless after losing to the Ravens in Baltimore in overtime. Jon Kitna looked as lost and as inept as Bears' backup Todd Collins when Kitna finished the game vs. the Giants once Tony Romo broke his collarbone. Chad Henne tends to throw interceptions at the worst time for the Dolphins, and they head to Cincinnati to face the disappointing Bengals. Finally, as far as the two Matts are concerned, Moore's Panthers go for 2 in a row vs. a Rams' team that lost a heartbreaker at the end in Tampa while Hasselbeck's Seahawks face the Raiders in Oakland. It could be a letdown after the Raiders scored 59 on the Broncos last Sunday in Denver. All that said, I would actually take my chances with Matt Hasselbeck vs. a Raider defense that may be improved, but I don't think they are that much better... |

Isn't Matthew Stafford coming back? Might not be a bad pickup. |

As for Kitna, I think a lot of his stats came in garbage time vs. the Giants. Needless to say, those 100,000 fans gave Jon the business when they booed him for continuous three-and-outs... |

If I were you I would choose a QB each week based on the matchups, weather, home or away, etc... |

Kitna may not be a terrible option. He was thrown into the game against a really good D-line. The Cowboys have a week to adjust the offense around Kitna's strengths, whatever those may be. Plus he is surrounded by a ton of talent. Just saying, he may be a good play vs. Jax this Sunday. |

I would stick with Fitz. His last game was against a stiff Ravens D which had Ed Reed in the line up for the first time. I just picked him up hoping the teams with Favre and Romo will come calling |

fitz has much better match-ups but during playoff time alot of cold weather games, but is still a better choice |
