Vick @ NY Giants or Rivers vs. SF? Rivers should have a solid game against a mediocre to bad SF team. Vick is playing against a tough Giants' defense but he has the potential for huge plays. I backed into the playoffs and my opponent this week steamrolled through the season putting up a ton of points. I'm thinking I have to take a chance on Vick's potential for an explosive game over River's likely solid but unspectacular numbers. Of course, now that I said that Rivers will throw for 5 TDs and run for another one or two... |

Philip Rivers is 3rd in TD's, 2nd in Yards t and 5th in completion percentage and he's playing against a worse defense... |

That is true, but Vick can also produce points with his rushing game which seems to have given him the edge over Rivers in FF points most of the season. I wish they were both playing on Sunday so I had more time to drive myself nuts over this likely inconsequential decision. I say inconsequential as the rest of my roster blows. It's not unusual for my IDPs to outscore my RBs and WRs. |
