Offering me:

Malcolm Floyd
Derrick Ward (I have Foster w/ his bad hammy)

Wants:

Brandon Marshall

PPR League.

My RB's
Foster
Best
Spiller
Thomas
Felix Jones

WR's
Austin
Bowe
Marshall
Lee Evans
Jordy Nelson

Usually I'm pretty quick about decisions, but struggling with this one. Hamstrings make me nervous. If it's 1-2 weeks, then it's definitely a no. If it's 5-6 before he's healthy, then a lot tougher

No no no.

I'd find a way to get more RB depth though.

Guys in your RB core are either injury prone or 2nd string.

Decline that trade as soon as possible!!

Actually, I like your team. Yes, Best and Foster are injury prone but they have great upside. Some experts are really high on Best. According to Rotowire, you have the 6, 17, and 25th best RBs. Plus they have Thomas at 29 and Spiller at 35. If Foster and Best are healthy you might be able to deal from your RBs later in the season.

Just curious- 12-man league? Who's your QB?

Do you start 2 WR's?

I'm not a big fan of Marshall this year with no QB throwing to him.

I'd do it

Me too...you can build on RB depth later.

Ludicris if you accept this.

Ward might give you 3 weeks of football.
Floyd is the #3 option for Rivers, Gates and VJax being the first two.

This year Henne is given more control in this system with a new offensive coordinator.
Marshall is a superior athletic talent. Who is proven to give great performances, albeit not with Henne.
Why downgrade at WR and only get a couple of weeks with Derrick fricking Ward instead of starting Best & Jones?

NO DAMN SENSE

This also might be throwing people off, but Ward's production while Foster is out does not equal Foster's healthy production.
Houston obviously wouldn't implement the same game plan.

TEXTBOOK DECLINE

Alright I'm done with this one.

I forgot that Ward is Fosters backup. Now knowing that, I probably wouldn't do it.

I'm usually also against all trades before the season even starts, unless it's pretty obvious for one side to do it.

So I gotta brag about this team somewhere!

QB- Schaub, Stafford
RB- Chris Johnson, Steven Jackson, Ahmad Bradshaw, Fred Washington, James Starks, Daniel Thomas (1st cut)
WR- Megatron, Dez Bryant, Santonio Holmes, Pierre Garcon
TE- Vernon Davis

10-team, 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, flex, TE

Like the team except the RB depth relies on other players going down with injuries.
I'm also nervous about Ahmad, I like Jacobs more this year; at least for value.

You def. can tangle one of those QBs for a solid top 15 RB I'd assume once they show their production.
Hopefully SJax can stay healthy for you. I feel like this year he'll go above his averages in TDs due to Bradford.

Interesting- I was only slightly concerned with my WR depth. There are so many RB timeshares that you have to get a piece of one when you get to your RB3 and beyond. And I meant Fred Jackson not Washington but you probably realized that.

I figure CJ and SJax are every week starters and I flex one of the other RBs.

Post subject:  Re: 2011-12 Rolling Fantasy Trade Advice Thread

Yeah you shouldn't have to worry about your other backs.

I thought it was Leon Washington LOL.
I agree Fred and Ahmad should be solid enough to fill in for when CJ and SJax are in their byes.

WRs will be a pain to determine who to play with matchups.

Ended up declining it. Brees is my QB.

My RB situation is the only thing making me nervous. I'm going to have to make a deal at some point to address that. If Felix Jones or Best stay healthy, my team is beastly.

My team:

Vick
MJD
Ryan Grant
Reggie Bush
Andre Johnson
Welker
Dallas Clark
Eagles D
Neil Rackers

Boldin
Ochocinco
Nate Washington
McNabb
Cam Newton (I know, I know.)
Allen Bradford
Lee Smith (NE tight end.)

Any areas of improvement I should focus on first?

RB is not strong. Like the WR and TE though. My question is why dont you have Cam Newton starting over Vick...

No, I'm being sarcastic. Actually Matthew Berry has brainwashed me and I am considering taking Vick at 3 in my draft tomorrow.

Vick was really the one player in my auction draft that I was willing to pay a ton for. I legitimately believe he will win the MVP this season, barring injury.

Had the last pick in Triple Threat's league (because Grossman won a title for me last year). The scoring in this league makes everything just about equal. QB's have a slight edge. Can we say Back 2 Back?

1. (20) Greg Jennings This player is a keeper. (GB - WR)
2. (40) Reggie Wayne This player is a keeper. (Ind - WR)
3. (60) Sidney Rice (Sea - WR)
4. (80) Michael Bush (Oak - RB)
5. (100) Todd Heap (Ari - TE)
6. (120) San Francisco (SF - DEF)
7. (140) James Starks (GB - RB)
8. (160) Eric Weddle (SD - S)
9. (180) Rob Bironas (Ten - K)
10. (200) Eric Berry (KC - S)
11. (220) Lance Briggs (Chi - LB)
12. (240) Bradie James (Dal - LB)
13. (260) T.J. Ward (Cle - S)
14. (280) Andy Dalton (Cin - QB)
15. (300) Dwight Freeney (Ind - DE)
16. (320) Bernard Berrian (Min - WR)
17. (340) Ronde Barber (TB - CB)
18. (360) Sione Pouha (NYJ - DT)
19. (380) Jay Feely (Ari - K)
20. (400) Eric Weems (Atl - WR)
21. (420) Daniel Fells (Den - TE)
22. (440) Washington (Was - DEF)
23. (460) Thomas Davis (Car - LB)
24. (480) Calais Campbell (Ari - DE)
25. (500) Cameron Jordan (NO - DE)
26. (520) Aaron Rodgers This player is a keeper. (GB - QB)
27. (540) Jamaal Charles This player is a keeper. (KC - RB)

Wait; you have something against Mike Vick? I don't think I ever knew that from reading the board.

Yeah, what did Vick ever do to anyone?

I am in need of some RB help. Sent out a note to all the league managers that I would be willing to trade one of my WRs for a RB. Guy sent me this offer:

Beanie Wells for Vincent Jackson

Who are your other RBs and WRs? At first glance this seems like a no brainer, click the reject button.

Counter with Beanie Wells for Dez Bryant.

better yet, oh board-reknown person of consummate wit and intelligence, don't trade for beanie wells. the cardinals don't really like beanie wells... didn't some other RB jump up in front of him in quick order and then go and get injured, thus formally starting "the beanie wells era"? i'm pretty sure that's the case.... he'll be the featured back at the beginning, but if anyone else shows some promise on that team (chester taylor massive!) i reckon they'll get rid of his glorious touches. plus they're the cardinals and they suck.

i'd personally hold out for a better/different RB.
