At this point, I believe there are hundreds of "experts" out there. Many seem to not be particularly good. Are there any of these people that have stood out for you? They found something you or other writers didn't? At least have a good percentage of success?

I'm not saying he is an outstanding "expert" or above any of the others, but i like Brad Evans on Yahoo. Once you get through all of his schtick and catch-phrases and goofiness, he comes through with some pretty good fantasy plays I have found. i pretty much read and watch his stuff for entertainment though, not help. i very rarely go to fantasy "experts" for advice, its my fucking team after all. why would i have a team and then let some clown make my decisions on who to play? if im going to sink it will be on a decision i made, not some joker on a website or on the radio.

I often make better selections. That's why I started the thread. I wanted to see if there are people that get paid to make these calls that are better.

i always thought that scott pianowski was pretty good on yahoo baseball.... i think he does football too but i haven't paid much attention to them.

i hate that matthew berry motherfucker on ESPN. someone anointed him a fantasy god and ESPN shoves him down your throat anywhere and he's so anal about his delivery of information that i can do without him... in terms of ESPN, there's this guy chris harris who does some fantasy football radio show that airs in the middle of the nights on either fri -> sat and/or sat -> sun and he's pretty good... with the radio format he always describes why he's picking certain guys to start/sit, and his sleepers are backed up... pretty good track record.

otherwise it's a crap-shoot. if you yourself follow football close enough to know how individual players are trending and how teams have been playing lately, you should be able to make fairly educated guesses on starting/sitting and trades... if you consult 3 fantasy experts you might get 2 different responses... and then in the end you're always going to go with your gut.

example: last week i called up herb/abbatacola (and had to wait on hold for ~40 mins while we heard amazing stories about rock going to get food in the rain only a light hoodie. CLASSIC) and herb, like everyuone, didnt like my julio jones and mike tolbert for steven jackson trade (nevermind i also have greg jennings, marques colston, percy harvin, and malcolm floyd... not to mention, having antonio gates and fred davis lately has meant that one of them can flex, cuz idk when the magic fred davis train ends but it's been a nice ride for a month) and then he basically told me to start malcolm floyd over percy harvin.

i was freakin cuz even tho floyd wasnt on the medical report, and he did stat, he hasnt been finishing games and i was errrrghhh... so i defyed herb and started percy harvin, who netted me 13.40 (it woulda been 15.40 but the bum fumbled) and malcolm floyd netted 14.80.... so even tho i managed to win teh week something like 141-31, it could have been 142-143, and if i lose a tiebreaker by 2 points i will crucify myself for not listening to herb.

LONG STORY SHORT, FUCK ALL THE EXPERTS LISTEN TO HERB. YOU'LL ALSO GET TOP-NOTCH GRADE A ABBATACOLA SERVED WITH YOUR FANTASY DISH, AS OPPOSED TO CREEPY MATTHEW BERRY ASEXUAL UNDERTONES.

http://fantasypros.com give you accuracy ratings on all of the "fantasy pros" from around the web.

To be an expert in sports gambling, it seems to be you need only be right 60% of the time.

Balck Terry will be back one day. Maybe better than ever with surprises! If you'll pardon the expression. Thanks again for the website. My dad spent hours on it.

I used to run fantasy football leagues around 7th or 8th grade and have mostly continued to play them since. With 25 years under my belt, I have to be an expert, right?

Brad Evans is terrible. He throws so much shit at the wall, that eventually something sticks. He calls himself the "Big Noise". Only a huge douchebag would do that. I doubt that he has ever seen a vagina that he didn't pay for, or wasn't on spankwire. Funston is bad, too. They both rely on stats that don't matter, like total yards allowed for a defense. Green Bay's pass defense isn't bad, because they give up passing yards. They give up passing yards, because they have their foot on the opponent's neck, and they are forced to throw. Behrens and Pianowski are the good yahoo "experts".

ESPN's fantasy projections are ridiculous. They always have several people projected to score more than 20 points each week, but that rarely happens.
