what's good guys? i've gone and started up a new proper yahoo 5x5 12 team roto league with a bunch of my guys from #hardball on efnet, and right now it's a smashing success in that i've gotten ~8 people (including CSFMB's very own NAS/HOVA) in the last day or two.

we're gonna go with str8up 5x5 roto and those standard 12 teams, and like it says in the topic going into next year there will be 4-5 keepers and draft pick trades. this year i'mma sit down with the league and iron out all of the details (bench/DL slots, innings limits, waiver times, etc) so it'll be the ideal league for everyone involved.

i'm a longtime vet of fantasy baseball and i love the game, especially roto, where the best team from game 1 to game 162 is rewarded for being the best team all year long (whereas in H2H one team can get hot and a juggernaught could have a slow/meh week and that's that) and i've got a bunch of GOOD QUALITY PEOPLE in there... if you haven't played against hova in fantasy sports that dude handles biz... and my #hardball guys hang out on irc and talk baseball all season with me so i can vouch for them: this should be a really good competitive league.

so if you wanna get in on the ground floor, lemme know. it's on yahoo and as of right now there's 8/12 teams in there and we're pretty aggressively recruiting for these last 4 spots so if you want in to a really good quality league, hit me up and i'll provide you with the info/invite.
