same one I always do, for Yahoo. They have adjusted some major rules, including allowing a bench and increasing the salary cap. C'mon in.

excellent, we're up to 10 guys. More are welcome. Don't forget to pick your team before Saturday and remember there are now bench spots.

and you're welcome, WR. The Premiership has made a soccer fan out of a non-soccer fan.

heya kids, i've finally gotten around to whipping up fantasy prem teams on both fantasy.premierleague.com and the yahoo fantasy premership, so now i've msg'd COF about joining his leagues and i'm wondering if anyone else has any leagues i can get into?

i know you can do that with fantasy.premierleague.com cuz i joined the efnet #premierleague (come on in and say hi tomorrow!) league and even tho i have no chance for the league cup i can get the hang of it and compete in earnest next year....and in my yahoo league, welp, i captained szczesny who got a clean sheet and i got ~35pts from him en route to 75-80 for the week, which i think is pretty good (considering i forgot to swap out the injured ozil and i only had ~3pts from late-sub #aha-meister, aka lukas podolski)

so yeah if you've got a league the cicero rockstars are looking to join it and get my feet wet so i can make a run next year.... and once you get over the whole "player valuations as gospel" thing that seems to be the whole game of fantasy prem (cuz football really IS about the $$$, eh? who knew? =) it seems to give me some added investment in watching players on teams i ordinarily wouldnt give a toss about, which is how i learned about baseball and even NFL en masse.... so if it helps me know "the beautiful game" that much more i'm all for it. the newness/freshness factor of euro football has been awesome and as a whole i think the perpetual variance that is football combined with the nonstop-commercial-free action (cuz i kid myself into believing that having "fly emirates" on the front of my shirt is cool as hell, as opposed to having bet365 or something, cuz you know i'm "fly" like that) aside from the actual kit being a commercial... yeah good times.

and i'm done babbling. can't wait for the arsenal to hopefully get some much-needed-revenge against aston villa. as long as they keep getting 3pts and staying out front in the table the better cuz these guys are mental midgets who will likely crumble once they fall ~4+ pts off of the pace and remember that it's going to take an act of god to prevent city from walking to a domestic treble this year.... what do you call getting 4 trophies in a year anyways? the anti-arsenal?
