Don't listen to Sini. You make that trade IMMEDIATELY.
or you realize that's roughly the market value for syndegaard and you go shop around 4-5 different offers to see if you can do better.
essentially you're counting on jay bruce to completely bounce back and shrug off what's approaching 1/2 of a career worst season and you're counting on verlander to regain a form that he hasn't had for two years.... and most troubling is that a perfunctory look at his stats tell you that even when he was having a 4.84 ERA back in 2008 he only gave up 195 hits in 201IP, yet after a noticeable uptick in 2013's H/9 after his run of dominance from 2009-2012 this year he's gone off the deep end and already given up 111 hits in 91 innings.
considering that verlander's a freak in terms of his extreme durability and thus high mileage, yeah, i wouldn't bet on the guy to be the kate-upton-fucker that he was during his 09-12 stretch. and when it comes to prospects it's not even about how good they are, it's about good other people think they are. that reminds me of this one time i convinced some sap to trade me kershaw+darvish for strasburg, albeit at my cost of cashing out mike trout and a replacement level 1B for a few solid bats.
ah well, c'est la vie. how's strasburg's quest to be the best pitcher in baseball going anyways, nas? kershaw had a decent game tonight....
oh wait.... good dolphin made a post that said he doesn't like it when people talk on a messageboard, they should say what they want to say in one word or less. and nas only reads the first two and last two sentences... so let's attempt this whole post again in a CSFMB-approved posting ethos:

yeah, who needs all of that pointless statistical analysis in the middle of the post? it's not like this is some fantasy baseball thread where people might want to have a little research/evidence to back up the claims made by a poster. ah well.... at least you two are happy, and again, that's what posting here is all about: kissing everyone else's ass.
