Tigers-Royals is rained out.

Adjust your lineups accordingly

Probably not necessary. I know I had ample bench spots today, since plenty of teams don't play.

Been spending a lot of time the last few weeks looking at fantasy baseball stuff.

I am in a 12 team keeper auction roto league, an NL team and a AL team. Doing live draft and the whole 9 yards. First time I have been a part of something like this. Fantasy baseball guy has taken on a whole new meaning to me lately

I would trade Kinsler. The 32 year old rule should apply.

Nah, I love him at the top of that lineup. Could have a T. Hunter 2013 type year.

Kinsler's backup is 1/1 with a SB 8)

Later this season you will regret not taking advice.

Probably not, I usually do pretty well.

All he needs to do is put up 15 homers, 15 steals and his usual 340 OBP and were all set

I don't abide by that. All but one of my bench spots are devoted to arms.

Well, I happened to have baseball's hottest player on my bench and he's murdering Wandy Rod right now

Not sure about your guys leagues but trades are pretty rare in my league. Its an 8 team league so there's always decent stuff available o the waiver wire so it makes it difficult

Last trade I made won the league for me though. Got young Kershaw and Castro for a package of old power hitters

Every league is 20 teams deep. No offense but I don't think skill or knowledge is generally required to win leagues that have 10 teams or less. It comes down to who has the best all star team.

Well sadly it started as 12 but layoffs forced it down to 8, its an office league

Its a different kind of thing. Pickups are huge and the playoffs are decided by starting the right pitchers

But the strategy is pretty much the same. Its just a higher level of player.

Someone offered me Andre Either and Javier Baez for Starling Marte

This is a keeper league.

Yes or no?

Either is a downgrade from Marte.
Trade comes down to if you think Baez is going to be better then Marte.
I would have him add a 2nd round pick as insurance.

How many teams in the league?

Ethier is really kinda worthless in a fantasy sense.

Marte is pretty fucking good and its not like he's old (25)

Id stick with Marte or make him upgrade from Ethier to something useful

*Marte does have a leg injury right now

16 homers, 15 SB's. The OPB was .306 but he made up with 86 RBI and 96 Runs scored

Also hit clinching homers on the sunday of both playoff matchups
