Chicago players are always over valued when every drafting is from here. Derrick Rose has never went lower than the 3rd round in my fantasy basketball drafts.
yeah good call dude, if you're in a league where you know everyone and thus you know there's some cubbie homers there, then you're going to have to strike early if you wanna be the team with babe bryant. otherwise, i technically had my drafts a week or two ago and since the babe is racking up HR after HR (often in the same game) you're prolly gonna have to go a little earlier than i said.
bottom line = excepting cubbie homers, if you wanna 100% for sure be the team with babe bryant and he's still there by like round 4 or 5 at the latest, jump on him them cuz the hype is only going to reach a fever pitch b4 the regular season starts. otherwise, if you can't get him circa 8-10 cuz somebody jumped out before you, i'd still recommend drafting value and then once the season breaks try to give the guy who has him an offer they can't refuse before he comes up, cuz if the babe arrives and hits a HR in his first game or something it's all over.... that is unless he starts off like 3/32 or something and you can buy low at that point.
then again, the only way babe bryant goes 3/32 is if he retires from baseball and then starts a lucrative career as a cricket bowler.
