This is mostly a douchebag nomination, but only for the few of us who care, so I don't want to muddy the DBOTW subform.
Anyways, Bioware is a DB most importantly for adding multi-player to Mass Effect 3. Why? What reason could a game in the Mass Effect series need multi-player for? These games have been good, maybe even great, single-player RPG's with excellent gameplay features and above average storytelling. Whatever the games lacked in actual RPG elements, they made up in other areas. Games like this do not need multi-player. First of all, it takes away development time from the actual game...the actual 30-40 hour story that people buy these games for. In addition...you're Bioware, you make dungeon crawling PvE games or single-player, story-driven RPG's. I don't know how you're going to add co-op to Mass Effect unless it is an entirely different set of missions / areas. The strategy behind controlling your party would be lost. And God forbid they try to add PvP.
What?
Who gives a shit as long as the actual single-player is good. Do you have to use co-op? No? Who gives a fuck. As for multi-player, again, who gives a fuck. It takes existing resources, maps, textures etc. It isn't that "draining" on a developer.
DB them for what they did to Dragon Age II, not this, when you DB them for ME3 for this chintzy shit you end up sound retarded.
Bioware isn't the largest studio in the world. They only have
x amount of development resources. If they aren't using 100% of that on the single-player, they are doing a disservice to fans of the game / series / genre.
I already DB'd them for Dragon Age II. You better brush up on your IMU history.
Also, I think the title "Bioware = disappointing recently" would include DA2, wouldn't you agree?
Also #2, fantastic use of anger.
I didn't even bother with DA2 after I read how badly Bioware fucked it up and made it lame. DA1 was awesome, through and through, it came the closest of any game to reminding me of Buldars Gate I/II.
"disappointing recently" is including what games? DA2? What else have they released that has been "disappointing"? They can't be disappointing lately because of a game that hasn't been released, right?
