Everyone at the golf outing yesterday got one of these as a gift.

Does anyone here have it and/or can explain to me exactly what it does or if I even need it?


As far as I can tell its just another way to buy/rent movies and tv shows. I guess you can also watch youtube on it.


I already have a 360 and PS3 where I can rent/buy movies from Amazon instant streaming.

Does AppleTV do something else I'm not aware of? Does it come with any free content?

I doubt you can watch youtube on it, since apple products don't support flash.

YouTube works fine on my ipod, so I'm guessing it does it.
