i finally figured out the proces of installing the new update via the preview program and I am now enjoying the new dashboard, complete with internet explorer.

hopefully this site doesnt brick my 360.

I hated Windows 7

I only spent 30 mins or so with it but I found the redesigned UI to be counterproductive and the homegroups addition to networking maddening...the way networking was before was fine....just seems like they made something new for something that worked already.
