Picked it up used over the weekend, going to return it today. Yet another highly rated game I couldn't get into in an hour's time so giving up.

Too slow and boring plus it has stealth elements and I fucking hate sneaking around in video games more than anything. Give me lots of guns and unlimited ammo!

yea I know, but it has zombies and won all those GOTY awards. I had that and Tomb Raider in my hand, probably should've gone with Tomb Raider although I wouldn't be surprised if I hate that as well.

Gonna pick up a copy of Pro Evolution Soccer 2014 today, used to play this game religiously but haven't played the last couple. With the World Cup coming this summer its a perfect time for me to get back into it.

Go with Fifa 14 instead. It has it's flaws still but it surpassed PES years ago. PES needs to rebuild.

And yea, if you hate UC then you'll definitely hate TR.

Totally disagree on Fifa vs PES. FIFA has all the bells and whistles, but PES has always had the superior gameplay. I checked out all the reviews on both and they basically confirmed that PES still has much better AI and much better passing and shooting. Not sure what, if anything, FIFA does better on the pitch than PES.

As long as you download the option file, PES is a better experience. Always has been and probably always will.

PES gameplay isn't superior. Fifa caught up with PES years ago and then surpassed them in that department. The only thing PES has over Fifa now is better passing. AI and shooting? Nah. Fifa flows better, it's more exciting.

I'm not tryin to trash PES. I still play it here and there because it's still a good game and it's not like you choosing to buy it is a shitty purchase. But the days of PES being vastly superior to Fifa in gameplay are long gone and I'd recommend giving it a chance some time.

No doubt FIFA caught up, but PES has made improvements in the last couple years whereas FIFA has slipped up a bit this year. In terms of gameplay, PES is still on top as it basically always has been. Bells and whistles give FIFA the slight edge with most reviewers, but call me crazy cause I'd rather have good gameplay than lifelike fans in the stands doing chants.

Here is a good article comparing the two....the writer gives the slight edge to FIFA, but its pretty clear that he gives gameplay to PES which is the only thing I care about.
