Surprised its not coming out for PS4 and the new Xbox. Hopefully that doesn't mean a slimmed down version as opposed to a full game.

Gonna throw out the word of caution I always do in cases like this...Gearbox isn't developing this game (at least not by themselves)...the press release says they are "co-producing" it with 2K Australia, but it sounds like that is mostly writing and offering up advice on gameplay and storyline.

Who knows...maybe 2K Australia can make a game on the same level of Gearbox...but if it ends up being inferior, don't be shocked.

Damn I think you're probably right. I thought it was odd that a property as big as Borderlands would release a new game and not have it on all available consoles. You're explanation makes sense, sounds like this is just a halfass effort designed to make a few bucks before they get around to releasing a real game on the new consoles which I imagine would be on a couple years.
