I played a demo of 8 @ Target & it's phenomenal. They've got like a shitload of characters to choose from. I was Ludwig Von Koopa, the best Koopaling. Of course I won. 8) (I'm imagining the difficulty of the demos is probably lower than the actual gameplay).

Ridiculously fun. The screen controller seems to be a stupid little gimmick but since the Wii controllers work for it(and my bundle came with another) I still use that.

Mario Kart and New Super Mario Bros. U have made the purchase worth it.

It's amazing how much better the Wii U looks when it has actual games worth playing.

Having played with the Wii U a lot more, I have to eat a massive plate of crow regarding the gamepad. I love the fact that I can fire up a game and play while the fiance watches something on the TV. I also find the creations people post to the Miiverse using the stylus/touchscreen to be mildly entertaining at times.
