I read a number of articles on bitcoin.

I don't get it.

What I do understand sounds dumb anyway.

The days of home set up and mining yourself are done. It has moved into huge warehouses of mining equipment. You can have a kick ass set up and be spending a fortune on your electricity bill and barely break even. Might have been worth it when it was over $1,000 but at current levels you are wasting your time.

Now if you wanted to invest in it like stock or precious metals, there is certainly some long term upside at the moment as the prices are tumbling.

The US government will ultimately destroy it so be sure to be out of the country before that.

hey chas why don't you give me a few hundred smackers and i'll give you some digitized nothing. yeah it's some tangible thing generated by some complex comptuer mathematicals/equations/formulas that sounds all big and important and literally like gold b4 it you go mining for it and stuff.... but basically you're just going to have a program that says you've got X amount of my digitized nothing and that's pretty much all you're ever going to have.

so yeah i'm thinking 500bux will get you no less than ~50 sinicoins. and sinicoins are derived from the process of "mining" me for my thoughts and perspectives on things and then someday when i'm worth some decent amount of $$$ based on the cult of personality i set up to be some sort of relative/celebrity, well you can cash out your sinicoins (which are backed/insured by units of SINILABOR(tm) which means when i'm rich and famous someday i'll autograph some faceshots for you, or sell my underwear to desperate landwhale chicks via e-bay and then depending on how many sinicoins you have you'll get a higher and higher % of the $$$ yield depending on how many sinicoins you wanna cash in.

oh and speaking of cash in, you'll have to register at one of the official sinicoin exchanges where if you read the fine fine print i don't ever really have to cash out your sinicoins and if i end up in a pickle where i have to anyways well the value of the sinicoin i derived by how i feel every day and you have to find another party interested in the sinicoins and then i'll arbitrarily make up the exchange rate and rah rah rah.

and did i mention that sinicoins are backed up by complex mathematical equations that literally mined them from the existential void at the pit of my soul? official stuff.

but TL;DR/long-story-short the whole magical process starts with you giving me ~$500 or so to get your starter kit of 37-50 sinicoins (we'll have to check the exchanges to see what the current value of the sinicoins are) and i assure you that investing in me, erm, sinicoins is so much more than a patreon or a kickstarter for some shit i'm only finna do.... like i said it's backed up by complex mathematical equations and a bunch of other jamoches who are gonna front like they don't want you there because the more people showing up to take more sinicoins = less sinicoins and by extention $$$$STRAIGHT CASH HOMEY$$$$ for them, but then again another complex mathematical equation has determined that there can only theoretically be so many sinicoins because once you've solved all of those complex mathematical equations i mean how are you going to mine more sinicoins out of me?

regardless sinicoins are the future and i'll look forward to receiving your 500 bucks ASAP, and of course i'l toss in an extra 2 sinicoins to you for each new person you bring into the fold. welcome to the future of finance! give me your real $$$ and invest in my digitized nothing currency. you'll have one foot firmly planted in the future while the other foot somehow fits up your own asshole; welcome to sinicoin!

i think it will (or some form of it) become the go-to currency for online purchases. bitcoin isnt the only player though, and it will take years for one to really come out on top and dominate the market.

until then, i would just invest in it like stocks. buy some, watch it hit a peak, sell it, repeat

There are 100's of other crytpocurrencies. They need a backer to become relevant, maybe Google buys them and its GOOGLEBITs or APPLEGIGS, whichever it is, that is what needs to happen.

I wouldn't nor I would invest in Bitcoin specifically, but I have invested in other similar coin types as they do have massive potential.

Bitcoin is most popualr as it has largest market share, it's the oldest, etc. Look for Ripple to be bought by someone and get that boost. Just my guess.

The biggest users are drug dealers and child porn dealers, who need the anonymity.
