Playing games on one of those mini-NES's, and I had forgotten how damn hard the original Contra was. And by hard, I mean impossible. Can't even beat the first level.

I can't send you video because I can't find my joystick.

You can take that however you like. Fruit.

No real replay value, and Gamestop won't give you anything for it in trade.

Old school games were hard because there was none of this "save" shit. Either you beat the game with the given number of lives or you start back at the beginning.

Silver Surfer's difficulty is legendary.

Super Mario Frustration. Well, the name says it all.

Ninja Gaiden is probably the hardest great NES game.

I was able to beat Contra without dying (and without 30 lives) I played it so damn much.

ghost and goblins was awfully difficult.

TMNT is the legendarily difficult one. It’s tempting to go back and play some of the games with emulators because you can save and reload at any point, but since I’m old now I don’t have time for games that are challenges.

I have the same problem. I don't have the will or the patience to keep at it anymore.

Just make sure to get the controller extension too. The one they give you is way too short, and I've heard the wireless ones lag.
