getting my hopes up, will fox be able to handle the demand? will need to install a fan to blow on my roku ultra device so it doesnt start on fire to get it to stream 3+ hours of 4k content

I know I've arrived at grumpy old man status in that I prefer 1080p HD over the 4K ultra.

fucking roku, their agreement with fox expires on the 31st and they decided to pull the fox apps from customers. as a result i just bought a 4k fire tv stick... and ill break it open sunday if i need to. I hope these fuckwads can work this shit out before sunday. what a joke. i was looking forward to the 4k stream

roku and fox figured it out yesterday.

I just tried out the 4k stream and then watched a bit of the regular youtubeTV hd stream. the 4k stream is a bit sharper, but the real difference is the colors. on the 4k steam's HDR10 the colors really pop. hope this stream holds up to the demand in 2.5 hours at kickoff

We just got our 4K box from Xfinity last week, and like Billy said, the 4K videos on YT are amazing.
Just look up something something drone videos in 4K.

Looks great so far. Streaming through Roku app on smart TV. Wifi so far but ready to hook up ethernet cable to TV if needed.
